Today Twitter announced the removal of using stars to "favorite" content. Instead, they have swapped their stars for hearts. On Twitter, their announcement received over 22,000 retweets and showed the heart being a representation of different emotions: aww, like, congrats, LOL, etc. Twitter has also decided to call the action of tapping the heart a "like", not a "favorite" anymore. The use of the heart and adopting the language of "likes" is very similar to Instagram's interface. Hmm, we wonder how they feel about this new change.
